Camp U! runs from 8am - 12pm each day.

1 hour courses will begin at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 11am.
2 Hour Courses will begin at 8am and 10am.
4 hour courses will run from 8am - 12pm.
Stop, Motion, Create!
Unleash your imagination and bring your favorite stories to life with the magic of stop-motion animation! In this hands-on course, students will explore the exciting world of stop-motion video creation. Through simple techniques and creative projects, students will learn how to make objects, clay figures, or drawings come to life frame by frame.
Throughout the course, kids will develop storytelling skills, understand the basics of animation, and experiment with different materials like clay, paper, and everyday objects. By the end of the course, each student will create their very own stop-motion video to share with friends and family.

Basic stop-motion animation techniques, Storyboarding and planning a video, Using different materials to create characters and settings, Digital editing and video creation tools, Teamwork and creativity in collaborative projects

This course is perfect for young creatives, with an interest in animation, storytelling, or just having fun with art and technology. No prior experience is required, just a curiosity and passion for creating!

Hi! My name is A'Rynn Valcin and I am so excited to be teaching Stop, Motion, Create and Block Based Coding during Summer Enrichment! I have been an educator for 14 years. I have been a part of CSISD for only one year and have had the pleasure of teaching third grade math and science. In my spare time I love to play with my kids, read, and try new restaurants.
