Number Blocks World Plus!
Last summer did your child go on the Number Blocks adventure with us? Does your child really like math? OR, does your child need some extra practice with math this summer? We will be working in cooperative learning groups exploring math concepts using technology, math manipulatives, and research-based games to expand, challenge, and review math concepts with the friendly characters from the global hit math series, Number Blocks World! This course is unique because it's for students in Entering- Kindergarten to kids entering 2nd grade, and the activities are leveled to your child's ability range, and to challenge them to the next level. This course will be great to review concepts, and expose them to what is coming next!
Grades Ent-K, K, 1 (14 students per section)
Hi! My name is Allie Jones and I am super excited to be teaching courses for Summer Enrichment! I have been teaching for 15 years. I have been part of CSISD for 14 years! I started as an instructional assistant in the CASL program, became a Kindergarten teacher, and then returned to Special Education. In SPED, I have taught Resource and I currently teach in the CASL program. I grew up in southwest Colorado, but have lived in Texas for 15 years. My Aggie husband brought me to College Station, and now it’s home. We have 3 kids (girl, boy, girl) and a maltipoo named Lucy!
