    ABC Soccer The goal of ABC Soccer is to promote and develop an interest in soccer for young children. ABC Soccer will provide a training program for all youth soccer players, whatever their ability level. We will learn the fundamentals of soccer. We will work on ball trapping, passing, ball control, first touch passing, striking the ball, basic/skilled dribbling etc. We will learn the rules and regulation of the game and have small side games to work on what we practiced for the week. This is a great class to keep your children physically active during the summer break. We'll see you soon. Grades 1, 2, 3 (12 students per section)

    Acting for the Stage This class will be filled with the joy and laughter of live theater. With acting games and Improvisational games, along with costumes designs and construction of basic cardboard sets and stage lighting with flashlights and colored gels, for every age, and at the end we will put on a variety show for the parents to show off our amazing talents!     Actors on a “Roll” In this unique course, we blend the realms of acting and improvisation with the thrilling adventures of Dungeons & Dragons. Embark on a quest like no other as you dive into the fantastical world of role-playing, creative storytelling and honing your acting skills while battling dragons, solving mysteries, and forging alliances. Grades 4, 5, 6 (14 students per section)
  • Advanced Chess

    Advanced Chess: This class is for the students that have knowledge of the game of chess. These students need playing time against other students to learn how different people will play. We will have questions and answer time to discuss possible move choices. If students would like to play a tournament, we will set up a small tournament so each student will have an introduction to a tournament format. Grades 2, 3 (12 students)

    ALGEBRA 1A ON CAMPUS For current high students who have previously failed Algebra I. Prerequisite: must be current high school student and have taken Algebra I and failed it. Computer based modules through Edmentum will help students with mastery of Algebra I concepts. Students will complete a pre-test for each unit and will only have to complete those units on which they have not shown mastery. NOTE: this course may be taught in a direct instruction format. Format announced first day. Hours M-TH 8:05 AM- 12:00 PM, F 8:05 AM- 11:30 AM.     All Things Cards! Everything you ever wanted to learn to do with a basic deck of playing cards will be offered in this class. From learning basic card games, to mastering and performing card tricks, to building card towers that rival the tallest of buildings, this class has it all! There will even be a final card tournament to end our time together. Best of all, we are learning math skills, strategy, problem-solving, and performance techniques all while having fun!     Amazing Science Experiments! Amazing Science is back after taking a year off! This class is for kids who love science and want to have fun learning about it! Investigate a wide variety of science topics through hands-on experiments, modeling, demonstrations, and student-directed activities. We will be exploring the basics of chemistry, physical forces, electrical circuits, perception, problem solving, structures, food science, and more! Grades 2, 3 for 8am and 9am (12 students per section) Grades K, 1 for 10am and 11am (12 students per section)

    Archery: This summer students will have the opportunity to shoot a real compound bow using real arrows. Students will learn safety and maintenance of archery equipment. The class will be held inside so weather will not be an issue. We have all of the supplies for the students to use. Come and become a modern-day Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen! Grades 2, 3 (12 students per section)

    ART APPRECIATION A HYBRID For students would like to take it for original credit. This course will be taught fully online and requires weekly submissions. A teacher will be available via email as well in person during the day to answer questions and assist students. The teachers will also be monitoring student progress, student time spent working on modules, and submission grades. NO REFUNDS AFTER LOGGING INTO COURSE. EXAM TIMES M-TH 8:00 AM- 11:30 AM, F 8:00 AM - 11 AM Teacher hours M-TH 8 AM- 12:00 PM, F 8 AM- 11:30 AM. Students cannot be enrolled in more than one course at the same time.     Ball Catchers The little dribblers will use fun activities with games and drills that will incorporate fundamental basketballs such as dribbling , shooting, passing, and hand drills. Grades 1, 2, 3 (15 students)
  • Beat Busters

    Beat Busters Beat Busters Hip Hop class offers beginners, intermediate and advanced HIP HOP Dance classes. Classes start with a total body warm up and light stretch. Each class time will focus on one choreography to one song. We may build on the choreography using the same song per week. Classes are for ALL levels! Come and enjoy the fun this summer!
