ABC Soccer
The goal of ABC Soccer is to promote and develop an interest in soccer for young children. ABC Soccer will provide a training program for all youth soccer players, whatever their ability level. We will learn the fundamentals of soccer. We will work on ball trapping, passing, ball control, first touch passing, striking the ball, basic/skilled dribbling etc. We will learn the rules and regulation of the game and have small side games to work on what we practiced for the week. This is a great class to keep your children physically active during the summer break. We'll see you soon.
Grades 1, 2, 3 (12 students per section)
Hello! My name is Michael Thompson Jr., and I am thrilled to be teaching ABC Soccer and Karaoke Kids for this year's Summer Enrichment program. I have dedicated the past 16 years to public education, all of which have been right here with CSISD in the special education department.
My passion for working with students extends beyond the classroom; I’m an active coach for our city youth soccer league and a regular player in local leagues myself. When I’m not on the field, I’m often at Brazos Fellowship serving as a vocalist and instrumentalist for the worship team. Most importantly, I’m a father of two, and we love staying active together as a family. I look forward to a great summer of growth and fun with your children!
