Camp U! runs from 8am - 12pm each day.

Summer Enrichment gives students and families the opportunity to explore interests and enrich academics through fun and hands on classes. We look forward to meeting the needs of your family!
1 hour courses will begin at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 11am.
2 Hour Courses will begin at 8am and 10am.
4 hour courses will run from 8am - 12pm.
Primary Literacy
Literacy is a way for all of us to connect to one another and is an important part of all our lives. I would like to invite your child to a two-hour block class that can help expand and develop their love of reading and writing or to encourage them if they are not in love with either...yet. Each day we will participate in important literacy experiences, such as reading, writing, word work (spelling) and oral language skills. These experiences will be supported by direct whole group instruction, small groups and independent learning. I look forward to connecting with your child this summer.

Hello! My name is Jody Rodriguez and I am excited to return for another summer to teach the Primary and Elementary Literacy classes. I have just finished my 20th year as an educator and all my teaching has been in CSISD. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and now serve as a K-4 Literacy Interventionist. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, creating coffee recipes, going for walks and my two fuzzball kittens, Callie and Noel.
